Dan Wesson 1911 in 10mm-Check the extractor for proper tension. Check the ejector for tightness in the frame. A light load may not let the ejector do its job correctly. If the bent case get trapped in the action after firing and then is hit by the slide, then the case mouth is getting mangled by the barrel hood. How far the gun is throwing the brass might be another clue. Short= weak load. Another cause can be the following round is riding to high in the magazines. The fired case on blow back is knocked from the bolt face prematurely. An adjustment of the magazines might be needed. Number all your magazines to be sure. Some times a very hot load with slow powder, will change the slides timing also.
