Kaboom when loading 9mm magazine. "Saturday I was loading a mag for my XDm 5.25 9mm before the monthly IDPA match. I was talking and loading mags when I heard BANG and it felt like a firecracker went off in my hand. I looked down and all digits were accounted for and no visible blood. Casing was found about 5 feet away. Bullet was never found. Only thing I can come up with is maybe I jammed the primer into one of the lips on the mag. My thumb was numb for about an hour. Always good to be wearing eye protection while loading mags. Guy next to me felt some spray in his arm. They were reloads with either CCI or Federal primers.
Here are the pics."
